Enable notifications on MT4 terminal

Follow these steps to enable notifications in MT4:

  1. Open MT4: Launch the MetaTrader 4 platform
  2. Login: Log in to your trading account if you haven’t already
  3. Go to Options: Click “Tools” menu > “Options”
  4. Notifications Settings: Navigate to the “Notifications” tab
  5. Enable Notifications: Check “Enable Push Notifications”
  6. Enter MetaQuotes ID: Enter your ID from the MT4 mobile app settings
  7. Test Notification: Click “Test” to verify setup
  8. Save Settings: Click “OK” to save changes

Enable notifications in MT4 EA

Open your EA’s properties and go to the “Inputs” tab to configure alerts:

  1. Set alert/notification/email settings to “true” as needed
  2. Configure any additional alert parameters
